11. International Symposium on Stem Cells and Cancer
As the Lab members made their way to the dkfz (Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum) they started of the conference with an interesting workshop on innovative strategies to target AML. The following two days were filled with a spectacular mix of presentations and posters ranging from leukemia up to solid cancer research. About 300 fellow researchers attended the event and brought with them a cheerful atmosphere allowing for intersicplinary research exchange.
We thank the organizers, the German Cancer Research Center, the Heidelberg Institute for Stem Cell Technology and Experimental Medicine (HI-STEM) and the Heidelberg University Hospital for this excellent symposium.
