The leukemia research group in Wilsede presenting with a new look.

XXXV. Annual Kind-Philipp-Foundation Meeting in Wilsede

As usual, the team made its way up to Wilsede for the XXXV. GPOH Kind-Philipp-Meeting for research in pediatric oncology, where all participants gave fascinating talks about their projects and unpublished data. Alongside the presentations from fellow students and researchers, the meeting offered a great number of invited lectures. The first keynote lecture was given by Prof. Florian Heidel from Hannover Medical School about oncogenic signalling. Followed by Prof. Anton Henssen speaking on extrachromosomal oncogenes in solid tumour biology, accompanied by a fascinating talk from Prof. Brian Huntly on aberrant gene regulatory complexes in leukemia. And last but not least an exciting talk by Prof. Katrin Ottersbach from Edinburgh University about the fetal origins of pediatric leukemia.
