On television with José Carerras
In early May of this year, we were honoured to meet José Carerras, founder of the José Carerras Leukämie-Stiftung. José was accompanied by a camera team filming him while meeting patients and sharing research insights. The team was shooting segments for his annual Charity event, the José Carerras Gala. This year marked the 30th anniversary of his charity Gala, which has collected 245 million Euros within the last 30 years. His charity has supported over 1500 research projects, all contributing to his motivation: Leukemia should be curable for everyone. At this years event a sum of over 3.5 Mio euros was donated and we are very grateful to have contributed to this years event.
