Apl. Prof. Martin S. Staege
Apl. Prof. Dr. rer. nat., rer. medic. habil. Martin S. Staege studied biology and chemistry at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. From 1992-1993 he was a fellow of the “Claussen-Stiftung im Stifterverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft”. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Institute for Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics, GSF, in Munich and in the Research Group Biochemistry II, Faculty of Chemistry, at the University Bielefeld. Since 2001, he has worked in the Department of Surgical and Conservative Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, as a member of Medical Faculty at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Since 2016, he has acted as Section Editor for Oncology for the journal Medicine. Since 2018, he has served as member of the expert pool of the “Nationaler Ausschuss TierSchG des Bundesinstituts für Risikobewertung”.
